This modern stylistic bridge construction is the very gateway to the nature- and walking area of the Sahara. It is also a pause for the cycling tourists on their route along the Kempen Canal.
This unique pedestrian bridge lies on the cycling track to the ‘Blauwe Kei’, which is a part of the cycling route network Limburg.
But also for the walkers the bridge and the nearby spawn pond are an additional attraction. The construction in S-form, made of a fine combination of steel and wood, suspended between two steel pylons, makes the pedestrian bridge almost disappear in the surrounding green.
